- Damien Lim Zheng Yang (23A02) experienced sudden loss of his elder brother, whom he was close to, close to the A-level period, shattering his world. Despite coping with grief, he forged ahead with perseverance and tenacity to complete his A-level examinations.
- Purinita d/o Gurmit Singh (23A08) boldly chose to be part of the Malay Language Elective Programme (MLEP) immersing herself in a language and culture she was not raised in, but eventually grew a deep passion for.
- M Ahilan (23A03) initially struggled with the rigorous JC curriculum, but with his belief in infinite growth, sheer determination and guidance from his teachers, he overcame the initial struggles academically and also went on to serve the community even more actively and developed a passion for community service.
- Jayden Ho Yuxuan (23S08) truly embodies infinite possibilities. Despite being born with Poland Syndrome, he never saw this as a challenge – rather, he transforms the physical challenges into opportunities for growth and hopes to inspire others to overcome their own challenges.
- Diagnosed with ADHD, Lenka Danielle Chvojkova (23A08) faced challenges transitioning into junior college. With the support from JPJC’s inclusive community and the college’s Special Education Needs counsellor, Lenka learnt useful strategies to manage her academics and co-curricular endeavours.
- Passionate about the Humanities and Arts, Angel Lim Yu Xi (23A01) chose JPJC’s Humanities Programme, drawn by her love for Geography and Literature. As the only Arts student taking four H2s in the college, she excelled in her academics while being actively involved in college activities- from managing CCAs, VIA projects, and leadership roles.
- Jolene Wang Jing Yi (23A08) shares her journey of resilience as she overcomes and manages anxiety with the strong support from JPFam. After taking some time off school, Jolene came back stronger and regarded the setbacks as just detours leading to a version of herself she is proud of today.
