Digital Literacy and Technological Skills
At JPJC, the Digital Literacy and Technological Skills (DLTS) curriculum is designed to equip students for lifelong learning and success in an increasingly digital world. The programme is comprehensive, integrating foundational training with developmental opportunities that support students at different stages of their journey.
Starting in 2026, all J1 students will participate in a baseline Digital Literacy Programme focused on the effective and responsible use of AI as a learning companion. This foundation ensures that students develop the confidence and awareness needed to navigate AI-enabled environments meaningfully.
Beyond this baseline, students strengthen their digital proficiency through experiences embedded across academic subjects and the co-curriculum. These learning opportunities are designed to develop hard, soft, and blended digital competencies, as illustrated below.

Supported by students’ personal learning devices, these experiences encompass essential software and tools as well as cyber wellness, digital responsibility, and healthy technology habits. While specific components are compulsory to ensure a strong foundation, students are empowered to further customise their learning journey according to their unique interests and passions.
Collectively, these experiences allow students to tailor their growth across the formal and broader co-curriculum, aligning their skills with their strengths and future aspirations.
