Application for a Canteen Halal Cuisine Stall in Jurong Pioneer Junior College

We are pleased to invite applications to apply for a Canteen Halal Cuisine Stall from the 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2025.

Interested applicants must meet the following Criteria:

• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) for stall owner and stall assistants.
• Able to maintain a high standard of food safety and personal hygiene.
• Able to provide good service and quality food with prices determined in consultation with the college.
• Able to provide cooked food that meets health & nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the “Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP)" guidelines.
• Healthy and Fit to operate the stall (8am to 5pm daily during school week).
• Experience in operating a canteen stall in Secondary Schools or JC preferred.

Applicant should preferably fulfil the following criteria:

• Successful applicants and stall assistants must possess the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Possess catering experience or experience operating in a Secondary / JC environment.

Pricing:

• Provide full list of food items and their prices together with your application submission. Meals include portion of fruits.

Application will close on 13 December 2024:
Application Form, duly complied must be submitted to the General Office, Jurong Pioneer JC no later than 13 December 2024 before noon.
Late application will not be considered.

Food Tasting:
Shortlisted vendors will be required to provide food sampling for the school canteen committee at own expense.

Successful applicant is required to apply the following before commencement:

• Food stall license from Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
• Utilities service - SP services for gas and water & Senoko Energy for electricity.

   • Photocopy of NRIC (front and back)
   • List of proposed menu and pricing for all items
   • Photocopy of relevant certificates such as Basic Food Hygiene Course, etc

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate approved by NEA/SFA (photocopy required).
• Canteen assistant must have valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate approved by NEA/SFA (photo copy required)
• Familiar with Basic HMSP is preferred (photo copy required)
• Fit and healthy
• Experience in operating a canteen stall in Secondary Schools or Junior Colleges
• Able to operate the canteen stall from 8am to 5pm daily during school week
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident only (photocopy of NRIC- both sides)
• To provide a complete / full pricing for proposed food items for sales at the canteen (as part of the submission)
